Victor Takunda Japu is a distinguished Certified Public Accountant with over two decades of university finance expertise. An MSU alumnus with a Master’s in Accounting and specialized training in Higher Education Management, he is PAAB-certified. After rising to Deputy Bursar at Midlands State University, he transitioned in 2015 to establish the finance office at MSUAS. As a strategic leader, he oversees budgeting, investments, and risk management. Mr. Japu is dedicated to implementing transparent, efficient financial systems that drive institutional growth, capital financing, and robust campus planning.
Mr A Makandwa Librarian
Amato Makandwa is a seasoned library professional with over 30 years of experience. Currently, as the founding Librarian at MSUAS, he holds an MSc in Library Science, a BA in Media Studies, and diplomas in Public Relations and Library Science. A results-driven leader, he previously held key roles at Midlands State University and served on Gweru Polytechnic’s Advisory Council.
