Welcome Remarks
Welcome to the Bursar’s Department, the cornerstone of financial integrity and resource management at MSUAS. Our department is dedicated to serving the diverse needs of the university, its academic and non-academic departments, students and our broader community of stakeholders. We are entrusted with the stewardship of the university’s financial health, overseeing critical operational units including Accounting, Cashiering, Student Accounts, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Budget Planning, Non-Current Assets, Central Stores and Investment Management.
Our commitment is to provide innovative financial leadership and business solutions that directly support an exemplary educational experience for our students and faculties. Operating under the authority of Section 20 of the University Act (Chapter 25:31) and the Public Finance Management Act, we ensure that every financial transaction conforms to university policies, statutory regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles. Through teamwork and preeminent resource stewardship, we aim to ensure the university’s financial strength for generations to come.
