“Mining and Mineral Processing Engineering is an engineering discipline that involves the practice, technology and application of extraction and processing of mineral resources from a naturally occurring environment. Mining and Mineral Processing Engineers not only plan, design and supervise the exploitation of mining operations for safe and profitable extraction, but also to bring innovative decisions for making the operations sustainable in the current difficult dynamic environmental and market conditions.
