To qualify for normal entry into the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Development Honours Degree programme, a candidate, in addition to satisfying the minimum conditions as prescribed under the General Regulations and the Faculty Regulations for English and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level, must have obtained at least any two passes at ‘A’ level in the following subjects Agriculture, Mathematics, Economics, Management of Business, Sociology, Geography and Biology with Diploma in Agriculture being an added advantage or equivalent relevant qualification

Objectives
- The Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Development Honours Degree is a four-year program (3 years for block release program). Through this program graduates will acquire the required skills and competencies to conduct research, prepare reports, or formulate plans to address economic problems related to the production and distribution of goods and services or monetary and fiscal policy.
- The programme will address the demand of agricultural economics techniques and development analysis in the areas of sustainable food production, natural resource management and overall economic growth.
