- Have passed at least 5 subjects at General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level including Mathematics, English Language at grade C or better.
- Have at least 2 Advanced Level passes in Mathematics AND any other commercial subject or any relevant Science subject.

Possible career prospects include Business intelligence and data analytics graduate, you can assume positions such as business analyst, data analyst, business intelligence analyst, financial analyst, application developer, software engineer, enterprise architect, IT consultant and systems analyst roles and move into managerial roles as your career progresses. Senior positions include Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer and Senior Solutions Consultant.
Objectives
The Bachelor of Science in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Honours Degree is a four-year program (3 years for block release program). This programme is designed to create graduates who stand out with skills required to solve 21st century data-driven business challenges.
- Analyse a problem, and identify and define the data analytical requirements appropriate to its solution.
- Analyse any form of data (numerical, text, images etc) using practical data analysis skills.
- Design, implement, and evaluate data analysis models to meet desired needs.
- Administer professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities.
- Communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
- Analyse the local and global impact of computing on individuals, organizations, and society.
