Empowering Future Innovators in Agriculture and Environmental Sustainability

Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences (MSUAS) invites underprivileged yet academically gifted students to apply for partial scholarships in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Environmental Sustainability.

Undergraduate Degree Programmes

1. BSc Agricultural Engineering Honours Degree (5 years)

• At least 2 ‘A’ Level passes in Mathematics and Physics/Agricultural Engineering/Agriculture/Geography/Technical Graphics or any other approved equivalent subject.
• National Diploma in Agriculture/Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering also considered.

2. BSc Horticulture Honours Degree (4 years)

• At least 2 ‘A’ Level passes in Crop Science, Horticulture, Biology and/or Agriculture, and any other Science subject.
• Diploma from a recognised institution in Horticulture or Agriculture/Forestry including ‘O’ Level Mathematics.

3. BSc Crop Science Honours Degree (4 years)

• At least 2 ‘A’ Level passes in Crop Science, Horticulture, Biology and/or Agriculture, and any other Science subject.
• Diploma in Horticulture or Agriculture/Forestry from a recognised institution including ‘O’ Level Mathematics.

4. BSc Agricultural Economics and Development Honours Degree (4 years)

• Any 2 ‘A’ Levels in Commercials or Sciences (Agriculture is an added advantage).
• Diploma/Higher National Diploma in Agriculture including ‘O’ Level Mathematics.

5. BSc Crop Production and Post‑harvest Technology Honours Degree (4 years)

• At least 2 ‘A’ Level passes in Crop Science, Horticulture, Biology, Food Science and/or Agriculture, and any other Science subject.
• Diploma in Horticulture or Agriculture/Forestry from a recognised institution including ‘O’ Level Mathematics.

How to Apply

• Obtain an official application form from the Admissions Office at MSUAS, Mutare, upon payment of a non‑refundable fee of US$20.
• Completed forms must be accompanied by an original deposit slip or receipt from the Bursar’s Department.

NB: MSUAS does not have third parties selling application forms.
